Three Minecraft Survival Challenges For 2021

Minecraft survival, the base mode of the game, is quite fun to start. However, after you’ve beaten it for the fifth time, it can start to get a little boring. So, what’s the best way to make things fresh again? One of the many Minecraft survival challenges, of course. The following challenges are based around playstyle rather than gameplay mechanics. Still, these playstyle challenges will definitely give you a fresh spin on the game.

No set base: Nomad

Normally you’d be making a base on survival first thing. However, with Nomad mode, you won’t be doing that. Rather than having a base and chests, you keep only what you can carry. And what you carry should probably include a bed, lest those pesky phantoms come looking for you.

Give this mode a try if you find you’re tired of the building aspect of the game and instead prefer the open world exploration. Want to explore new Minecraft survival worlds? Join the minecraft survival server and choose the fantasy world to start exploring.

Own the night: Vampire

As you might have guessed, in Vampire mode, you only travel at night. This mode isn’t for the faint of heart, however- you also must consume only raw meat. By the way, you’ll have to ‘eat’ at least once a night- so that means one cute little animal per night must bite the dust. Give this playstyle a try if you’re looking for something particularly challenging, or find you’ve always preferred the scenery at night.

If you’re more of a softy (or you just really love animals), there’s good news for you. The next game mode might suit you.

Friend to the animals: Vegan

As the name implies, you’ll be going vegan in this mode. That means not only that you can’t consume meat, but you also can’t use animal by-products. That means no leather, no milk, no eggs, and no wool. No fish either! No animals or animal products may be used.

This mode can be challenging to start since meat fills up more of the hunger bar than vegetables do. In order to survive and thrive, you’ll have to start a farm so that you have steady access to food. Once you do that, however, it’ll be smooth sailing from there on out. Having a village with farmers nearby is also helpful.

You should give this mode a try if you find that the animals are just too cute for words. Let’s be honest- they are.

Conclusion

Minecraft survival is undoubtedly fun the first few times you play it. It can get dull, however, after you’ve beaten it a few times. One of the best ways to keep the game fresh is with Minecraft survival challenges, a new way to play survival mode.  We recommend the following playstyle challenges: Nomad, Vampire, and Vegan.

In the Nomad challenge, you have only what you can carry on you, and you cannot build a base.

The Vampire challenge has you playing only at night. You must kill at least one animal per day, and you can only consume raw meat.

The Vegan challenge has you surviving without the use of any animal products whatsoever. That means no meat, no leather, no milk, no eggs, and no wool. You also can’t consume fish.

These Minecraft survival challenges are sure to give you a new experience. They will change your playstyle completely. These challenges can be difficult, but with the right planning, you will make it through no problem. Good luck, and thanks for reading!
